Hiking
Less than a mile from the Appalachian trail which runs from Georgia to Maine and is 2,174 miles running through 14 states, you will have no shortage of hiking options with excellent views of the lake. Sterling Forest is also nearby and Stairway to Heaven is a 15-minute drive.
Restaurants
Emerald Point is a short walk (.3 mile) with a huge deck open all summer. Bellvale Farms Creamery is a top icecream shop. Murphy's is also a short walk and Warwick offers plenty of options, in addition to one of the few remaining drive-in movie theaters in the country.
